Are you a part of a team who is struggling to demonstrate consistent results, feel miserable or aren't delivering to their full potential? Software conferences and books seem to emphasise the software, ignoring a major factor in software development, the team.
What will you learn?
Patterns and techniques for developing great, motivated teams who understand their flow, focus on optimal value and sustainable results.
This workshop covers the underlying aspects of team development and how to design a team development framework that work for your organisation. How to help teams move through their biggest challenges in software development.
The workshop will contain some theory parts, but the focus will be on hands-on exercises in collaboration as well as on discussions
During the 2 half days, we will cover the team development framework, the key concepts behind it and then go over practical implementation of the techniques with the group exercises.
Should you attend?
Are you in the position of leading a software team or is responsible for the development of software teams? Have you grown into the role over the years but never had an opportunity to get any formal training on the topic and want to have your practices validated? Are you new to team leading and are looking for a place to get started?
Awareness and experience of being in teams in the context of software development helps.
This was my first workshop focused on teams, team leadership or team culture. I've found it a great introduction into the field and it made me realize the 'field' may as well be an 'ocean' instead.
